Baby Legs
I almost always carry a pair of Baby Legs in my diaper bag. Why? They fit any of my kids in a pinch, and they're a great way to either add an extra layer when the weather gets cold, or to cover that annoying gap between baby's pants and socks when baby is in a sling. These leg warmers come in dozens of different colors and patterns.
Halo Technical Comfort System Clothing with Coolmax® Fabric
These lightweight onesies and "sweatsuits" made from Coolmax fabric are great for travel. Not only do they pack up small, and make great layering pieces, but they also dry quickly, making them great for diaper blowouts or other situations where you need to wash out clothing in the sink and dry it overnight.
Kids Packable Rain Jacket
I carry a packable rain jacket and rain pants with us on most trips. They don't take up much space in the luggage, and fit neatly in our daypack. Rain Jackets are great for more than just rain - they make a great extra layer in wind and are a nice way to waterproof your child on a boat or at a sea life show. Rain Gear also washes up well in a sink, and I sometimes use it as a makeshift "smock" when the kids are about to do something messy.
