Keiki Beaches, Big Island
The Keiki Beaches in Kona (and probably all over Hawaii) are the BEST. Keiki means child in Hawaiian. We went to a beach that is really near the Kona airport - you go right on the main drag and then take your 2nd right. Follow the road to a soccer field and park there. Walk through the soccer field, down a path, and you're at the beach.
The reason this is so fabulous is that the water is very shallow, and warm. it's protected so no big waves knock the kids over. And there are turtles swimming in the pristine clear water. There is lots of sand and shade and it's a great place to play.

Do you know the name of the beach or is it actually called Keiki Beach? Thank you.

This was a reader recommendation, and it does appear, based on my google search, that the beach is called Ke Ike Beach.
