Love, love, love that they have different areas for different ages. My son is 16 months, so we hang out in Playscape (0-2), where he can play with water, sand, building blocks, dress up, obstacle courses... and then retire to the quiet room for a little rest, recharge, and nursing. I'm also impressed that they have a "brown bag" eating area, so people aren't obligated to pay for food served in the food court. We had such a good time that I bought a membership, even though we live over an hour away.

With my two young ones we go to the Playscape at least every other week and they can't get enough of it. The huge dinosaurs outside the museum always get them so excited that we're going to the museum.
This museum has something for every age and every child. Water clock, Chihuly glass "Fireworks" sculpture and hands-on area, Dinosaurs (actual size dinosaurs are also trying to get into and out of the museum), Empowerment through child role model stories (Ryan White, Ruby Bridges, Anne Frank), Travel, Star Wars (we love the weekends when the local Star Wars group comes in dressed up along with Yoda Yoga and Jedi Training), Carousel, and so much more.
The current special exhibit brought in rock n' roll memorabilia with live concerts several times each month. Those days really bring in the tweens and teens.
